Frames and forks

Does the frame come with a brake mount?

The S-Frame and S-7575 Frame use a removable brake mount, and the mount itself is sold separately. If you ride brakeless, leave it off. If you need it, the S-SPEC Brake Mount Kit (M6 bolts, 48g) is the part.

Why does the S-30 Fork need a crown race?

Most forks made for integrated headsets have the 45° bearing seat formed into the base of the steerer. The S-30 Fork does not, so a separate crown race is required. The S-Fork Chromoly does not need one.

What is the difference between the S-Frame and the S-7575 Frame?

Both have a 20.75″ top tube, but the chainstays differ: 13.25″ against 12.75″. The S-7575 has the shorter wheelbase and turns in more quickly. The S-7575 also uses an integral head tube, while the S-Frame is specified at a 75.5° head angle.

The listings mention possible marks on frames and forks

Frames and forks are larger and heavier than other parts, so shipping impacts can leave minor paint chips or scratches. Please take this into account before ordering.

Headsets, stems and bars

Which frames does the S-15 Headset fit?

Frames with an integrated head tube, where the bearings sit inside the tube. 1-1/8″ (28.6mm), 15mm stack height.

What is a top-load stem?

A stem that clamps the bar from above rather than from the front. For the same reach, it places the bar higher than a front-load stem. The S-50 TL Stem has 50mm reach.

Will the P-92 bar fit a standard stem?

Yes. The clamp diameter is 22.2mm, which fits standard BMX stems.

Anything to watch when fitting titanium or carbon?

Titanium and carbon are more slippery at the clamp than chromoly or aluminum. Use carbon/fibre grip paste (not grease) on the clamping surfaces so the part holds without over-tightening. Over-tightening can damage it. This applies to the P-92 Titanium Handlebar and the P-200 Carbon Seat Post.

Cranks, bottom bracket and sprocket

Which BB shells do the S-170 Cranks work with?

The spindle is 19mm × 48-spline and works with Mid, Euro, Spanish and American shells. Pedals are 9/16″.

Is the S-19 BB a complete kit?

Yes. It ships with the aluminum spacer, resin cover and steel top-hat washer — everything needed to install it. It fits Mid shell frames and 19mm spindle cranks.

Will the P-28 Sprocket fit the S-170 Cranks?

The P-28 has a 24mm bore and ships with two spindle adapters: 24→19mm and 24→22mm. It fits the S-170 Cranks (19mm spindle) and 22mm-spindle cranks straight out of the box.

Wheels

Should I choose LHD or RHD?

It is which side the drive (sprocket and chain) sits on. LHD is left, RHD is right. Choose the same side as the wheels you run now. As a tendency, riders who lead with the right foot often run LHD, and riders who grind mainly on the right side run LHD while those who grind on the left run RHD. That said, matching your current setup is the reliable answer.

What tyres fit?

30mm rim width, for tyres from 2.0″ to 2.4″.

What tools do I need?

Front axle takes a 6mm hex key or 14mm; rear nut is 19mm.

Seat post

What does Pivotal mean?

A mounting system where the seat is held by a single bolt, with fine angle adjustment. The P-200 is Pivotal, so pair it with a Pivotal-compatible seat. Length is 200mm.

Ordering

What does shipping cost?

Within Japan, a flat ¥1,000, and free over ¥10,000, with no regional difference. We also ship internationally.

Will sold-out items come back?

Sold-out product pages have a “notify me when it’s back” field. Leave your email and we will let you know when the item returns. It is used only for that one notice — it is not a newsletter signup.

Can I return or exchange an item?

Please see our refund policy.

I run a shop. Do you sell wholesale?

Yes, to bike shops and retailers. See Wholesale.
